From 2018 – 2021 film maker Vinny Murphy began working with a men’s group in Rialto Community Drug Team. The group, supported and facilitated by Tony May and local community worker Joanie Whyte explored how stigma, trauma and drug use impacted on them as individuals, their family members and their community.
‘Fatima Was Me City’ was funded by Dublin City Council arts office, Canals Community Local Drugs and Alcohol Task Force and the HSE. ‘Fatima Was Me City’ was filmed in studio 468 in St Andrew’s Community Centre and produced by Rialto Community Drug Team and Common Ground, a local arts organisation.
