Since 1979, Tom Mc Loughlin has been taking photographs of both community and family life in Fatima Mansions and out and about in Dublin 8. His personal collection amounts to 1,000s of images and he has documented family events, funerals, sport, social life & social change, local women, the architecture of the flats, and portraits of local characters.

In 2019 Tom was based in studio 468 collating and archiving his photographic collection, assisted by his daughter Alison and Tony May.  Tom presented a curated series of his photographs alongside some of his extensive archive on Culture Night 2019.
