Jeong Hyun Kim + Deong Myoung Lee
Jeong Hyun Kim and Deong Myoung Lee are two contemporary dancers who create body movement research and improvisational contact dance performance. They are both members of Improad Badac, and are based in Seoul, South Korea.
The residency of Jeong Hyun and Dong Myoung Lee comprised of dance, filming and exchange with local people in Rialto. They made work with Martin Nolan, the Uileann piper. They held dance workshops for the staff in the Rialto Community Drug Team and the children of Generation Text. The residency culminated in a dance showcase at St. Andrew’s Community Centre. Jeong Hyun Kim studied choreography at the Korean National University of Arts having previously studied Film and French Literature, she has choreographed dance pieces and works for theatre, film and in public spaces. Dong Myoung Lee studied dance at University in Yong and he has performed both dance and musical pieces.
