Éilís Murphy
Éilís Murphy is a multidisciplinary artist working in a variety of media: installation-based pieces, participatory events, projections, book art, print and collage.
https://www.eilismurphy.comÉilís split her research award residency in studio 468 between researching the School’s Folklore Scheme in UCD and gathering local games of interest, focusing in particular on street games. She re-imagined the local streets as a playground and mapped snippets of games and memories onto the public space in the form of chalk maps, re-enactments, street drawings, video etc.
She studied Fine Art at NCAD and graduated with first class honours in 2004. In 2012, she completed the Arts, Participation and Development course in CIT Cork (FETAC level 8 special award).
