Anne-Maree Barry
Anne Maree Barry is a film artist whose research led practice addresses connections within contemporary space, which unites memory, narrative, geography, sociology and architecture. The result being creative non-fiction films that explore her sense of self and space, within a community.

Anne-Maree worked with the Rialto Twirlers, a majorette group. The project combined an experimental short film, live performance and workshops. Anne Maree was awarded a grant from the Arts Council for her project with Rialto. Anne-Maree Barry graduated from the The National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 2004 with an MFA in Media, after studying sculpture at The Limerick School of Art and Design. Her film project No Mean City (2015) was produced with assistance from The Liaison of Independent Film Makers of Toronto – LIFT and Screen Training Ireland – Bursary Award.
