Her participatory research project – The Department of Time Keepers was established as a way to think about how we use our time. How do we decide what is time well spent or time wasted? What criteria do we use to make these evaluations? If time is a resource then who owns it? People who visited the Department were invited to engage through conversation, workshop activities, and elongated bureaucratic procedures that sought to question the topics of time, labour and value.

One form of engagement was a Declaration of Time Spent form. This three page form divided your day into ninety six fifteen minute segments. In engaging with this form the person became both the subject being investigated and the investigating authority.

Work generated from the project was exhibited in both gallery and non gallery settings, including as part of Periodical Review X by Pallas Projects Dublin.
