At Common Ground, we work every day to ensure that everyone has equal access to the transformative power of the arts. We connect with people living in the Canal Communities. We introduce theatre makers, musicians, visual artists, dancers and more – to communities we believe will work together. We support artists to develop their work in a collaborative way with the local community. Together they all make art on their own terms. We pave the way for art to come to our neighbourhood.
Be a supporter of Common Ground’s programmes
Each year we connect with over 700 participants through our programmes of work, aged from 3 years to 80 years. Common Ground’s arts and cultural work makes life better for Children and Young People, Older People and the area we are located in.
For example international reports show that youth access to arts increase concentration, improves literacy rates, reduces early school leaving and improves family life. Common Ground’s VOICE programme with Children and Young People gives children access to a high quality music programme, which includes engaging with multiple music genres, composing and performance.
An investment of €350 would allow 12 children to access our VOICE programme for one month.
An investment of only €30 a month would be an investment in one child accessing our VOICE music programme.
