SUPPORT COMMON GROUND
Common Ground is registered as an eligible charity, charity number
CHY 13686, under the terms of Section 45, Finance Act 2001. Tax
relief can be claimed on all donations received over a minimum
annual donation of 250 Euro.
For a donation from a PAYE individual, Common Ground can claim a
repayment from Revenue at the end of the tax year. So for a donation
of 500 Euro, Common Ground can claim 125 Euro from Revenue.
For Corporate Donations, the company can claim a deduction from the
donation as if it were a trading expense. So for a donation of 1,000
Euro
to Common Ground, the company can claim relief of 125 Euro (assuming
corporation tax of 12.5%).
