- Funding Strategy Development Common Ground is proud of its ability over the past nine years, to manage and develop relationships with a wide variety of funders. We are exact in identifying the requirements needed for a project or programme to succeed and are experienced in raising funding for these specific needs. Our work has been valued over the past few years by the following funders; The Arts Council and CDYSB; the Dormant Accounts Fund, Dublin City Council (both the Arts Office and unique funding from Housing & Community), St. Stephen’s Green Trust, the Canal Communities Local Drugs Task Force, the Canal Communities Partnership, Hewlett Packard and Accenture.
Being a multi funded organisation brings both challenges and rewards organisationally and our investment as a staff and board in developing positive funding relationships over many years has supported the expansion of common ground’s work across the Canals area with our project partners.
In 2007 Common Ground was delighted to be invited into the Arts Council Regularly Funded Organisations process (RFO). This outcome of this process led to our revenue funding for 2008 increasing by 34%.
Business Support In 2006 Accenture created our website which led to us being nominated for a joint Business2Arts award. As a result a very positive working relationship has emerged between both organisations and we are very pleased to announce that in 2007 through Accenture’s
Corporate Social Responsibility programme Common Ground has been awarded €75,000
over three years towards the Music for Me programme. |
